With continued rain and increased flooding predicted in the Central PA area, Water Rescue crews are out performing rescues and evacuations. With multiple roadways still underwater, it is important to remember to NOT drive through roadways that are covered by water.
You DO NOT know how deep the water is, and you DO NOT know the condition of the roadway underneath the water. Driving through standing water will likely result in property damage (your car) and will place your life at risk, as well as those of emergency crews that will have to come out and rescue you. Please Stay off flooded roadways and do not ignore road closure signs.
